Aliss Ecommerce

Client: Aliss is one of the largest department stores in Panama, with stores in over 5 countries, a leader in the Americas and the Caribbean, and more than 60 years in the market.

Challenges: They faced significant challenges when they decided to implement their ecommerce due to the need to integrate multiple systems: ERP, ecommerce, PIM, and content management. Additionally, they required a system to manage data mediation for their multi-store (different brands), multi-currency, and multilingual business logic, as well as the translation between the ERP and the Frontend at the category level. For automation, they needed an orchestrator to synchronize their catalogs, sales management, and data exchanges between systems.

Solution: Weavee centralized the automations and interconnections between systems, providing greater tracking and visibility over key operations and synchronizations. Weavee’s adaptability allowed it to meet Aliss’ needs, optimizing processes and achieving complex logic through continuous workflow improvements. The implementation facilitated the translation and data exchange between the ERP and the Adobe Commerce frontend, addressing the complexities of the multi-store, multi-country, multi-currency, and multilingual aspects of the ecommerce project.

Divino

Client: Divino is one of the largest retailers in Uruguay for home and garden furniture, with over 11 large stores in Uruguay, 80 years in the Uruguayan market, and a team of 630 employees.

Challenges: They faced challenges integrating their ERP with Adobe Commerce, content management, promotion systems, and POS. Since they are a physical store at the core of their business, they decided to keep price and special price operations controlled by their central systems, making ecommerce a replicator. This required synchronization of prices between the physical and online stores, as well as constant updates for attributes, prices, and products.

Solution: Weavee implemented a product synchronization process from the ERP to Adobe Commerce using batch operations. The workflow logic allowed them to replicate prices and promotions from the store’s POS and Promotion System, achieving omnichannel capabilities. A bidirectional update system for products, prices, and attributes was developed, highlighting Weavee’s ability to promote digital omnichannel and replicate prices from POS to the digital store.

Super Carnes

Client: Super Carnes is a supermarket chain established 35 years ago in the interior of Panama, expanding into the capital. They have 10 branches across Panama and more than 1500 employees.

Challenges: Their challenge was to incorporate an ecommerce solution into their business model that would allow for agile and competitive sales for both B2C and B2B customers, while digitalizing their business logic. A major challenge was integrating their Frontend to sell products as unique SKUs as well as variable products by weight, common in the supermarket industry. They also faced complexities in managing batch products for updating attributes, prices, and promotions.

Solution: Weavee automated product transformations with weight-based variants, ensuring accurate sales amounts for the customer. It helped consolidate variables and products for better presentation on their ecommerce site. Weavee demonstrated the ability to handle different product types, such as weight or unit-based variants, automatically and efficiently. Additionally, it laid the groundwork to bring their POS and promotion systems into the digital world, aiming for a more pronounced omnichannel presence in the medium term.
