Comparison
Weavee vs EDICOM. Complying is not operating.
EDICOM is one of the few with a real presence in Spain and Latin America, and in electronic invoicing and tax compliance it is a specialist. Weavee does not compete there. We compete on the other thing: that orders, stock and prices move properly between your systems every day.
The short version.
EDICOM combines iPaaS with EDI, electronic invoicing and tax compliance, and has operations in Mexico and Brazil, which makes it probably the most direct regional competitor. But its strength is compliance, not general-purpose integration. If your problem is issuing documents that are valid before each country’s tax authority, they are built for that. If your problem is that the operation drifts out of sync, that one is ours.
Weavee and EDICOM, side by side.
| Criterion | EDICOM | Weavee |
|---|---|---|
| Main strength | Electronic invoicing, EDI and tax compliance, with iPaaS built around that. | Integrating the operation: orders, stock, prices, customers and invoicing across systems. |
| Local tax compliance | It is their specialty: electronic documents and per-country regulation. | Not our ground. Weavee integrates the invoicing data across systems, it does not file with the tax authority. |
| General-purpose integration | Connects ERP, CRM, e-commerce and marketplaces, but it is not where its strength lies. | It is the whole product, on the systems you already have. |
| Region | Strong presence in Spain and Latin America, with operations in Mexico and Brazil. | Latin America, with teams spread across several countries in the region. |
| Pricing model | Subscription or managed service, quote-based. Does not publish list prices. | Plans based on your processing volume and the level of support you need. |
| Who maintains the integration | A managed service on their compliance ground; business integration depends on the scope contracted. | We do, with you, across every flow. It is the service, not an add-on quoted separately. |
| How you start | A consultative enterprise or mid-market sale. | A 30-day trial and 5 hours of consulting to get your first flows running. |
And your case? A table cannot answer it in full.

Integration is the product, not the add-on
At EDICOM the integration layer exists to feed compliance. At Weavee it is everything we do: orders that land in the ERP with their rules, stock reconciled across channels, prices that respect each store’s list.
Maintenance is the product
When the marketplace changes its API or the ERP moves up a version, tax regulation has not moved but your operation has. Holding that together, continuously, is why the layer exists.
Without tying you to a compliance scope
Hiring an electronic invoicing specialist to solve your retail synchronisation is using the wrong tool, and the scope gets renegotiated every time a new flow appears that is not a tax document.
They coexist well
You do not have to choose. If you already have EDICOM handling your electronic documents, Weavee takes care of the rest of the operation staying in sync, including the invoicing data they then consume.
So far these are arguments. Test it with your own systems.
Start your free 30-day trialWhen EDICOM is the better choice.
- Your main problem is issuing electronic documents that are valid before the tax authority of one or several countries.
- You need EDI with trading partners already working on those standards.
- You want a single vendor to take on tax compliance as a managed service.
On tax compliance EDICOM is a specialist and we have nothing to argue there. If you also need the operation to run in sync, that is a different problem and it is better solved by whoever has it as their main product.

Frequently asked questions
Does Weavee do electronic invoicing?
No. Weavee integrates invoicing data across your systems: that the invoice generated in the ERP reaches the CRM, that collection status is reflected where it should be, that documents travel with their conversion rules. Filing with each country’s tax authority is a different job, and there EDICOM is a specialist.
Can I use both?
Yes, and it is the combination that makes most sense if you already work with them. EDICOM handles the document before the tax authority and Weavee handles the rest of the operation staying in sync, including the data that feeds that filing.
How much does EDICOM cost?
It does not publish list prices. It works with a subscription or managed service by quote, in a consultative enterprise or mid-market sale. That is why this comparison includes no figures for them: we would rather not publish a number we cannot back up.
Which systems does Weavee connect to?
Through APIs, databases, webhooks or custom connections, in the cloud or on-premise. We already run WooCommerce, Adobe Commerce, VTEX, SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, ICG, Odoo, Salesforce, HubSpot and Zoho.
